Finally they took Red's cast off today after 6 weeks with a blue cast. He still has to wear a splint for another 4 weeks just to be sure that it finishes healing and that he doesn't fall on it or anything. However because his cast was beginning to stink I am grateful that he can just have the splint and he can't fight me over showering or anything else! YEAH. The greatest part was watching Red's facial expressions when he was having the cast removed. You would've thought that they were torturing him, hopefully some of these pictures do it justice, maybe you just had to be there. I guess it didn't help that he was battling the stomach flu either. He kept commenting on how gross his arm looked underneath (dead skin falling off) and that he just wanted it clean. He is really happy that he doesn't have to go to school today. But anyway... enjoy.
