So for anyone who missed my earlier post about affordable laundry soap.... You have to try it!
Mom made mine a few weeks ago and I love it. The clothes smell fresh and clean and it's worked really well. We did have to spot clean a few whites but only because Red insists on using his neckline for a napkin!!!
Anyway, I talked to a girlfriend that is also loving her detergent but she wanted it to be more scented so she added a little bit of her favorite essential oil to the mix to spice it up a bit. Just an idea. I don't mind the frangrance free stuff, but it might make it fun to add something. Anyway, its worth a try and your pocket book won't mind at all!

Mom did it and it works great!! She uses it every day, and she took the recipe around to her vt sisters, but... they didn't really want to do it.
