"P"

Throughout my life "P" has meant a variety of things.
Of course as a small child (I use the word small as in age not size) "P" meant everyone out of my way because I can't hold it any longer. I wouldn't even shut the door I had to go so bad. Then I would yell "don't come down the hall". My brothers hated this!!
As I got older (notice I didn't say taller) "P" became something my dad would say to us as we left the house "Mind your P's and Q's" Now I never new what those letters stood for I just knew that it meant that I was to behave myself and be an example for others; make myself proud to be me. This statement was ususally proceeded by "Remember who you are, what you stand for and where you are going" Although I knew each time I left the house that these words were coming, I actually looked forward to hearing them and appreciated each time they were said. A gentle and consistent reminder to be my best self. I loved that!
Now I am back to "P" the same way I was in the beginning. Some who know me well may say I never left it. Although I have always had a weak bladder, Iwould like to say I learned to control it better as the years went by. Although there are many "stories" out there..... Well anyway, so now when I hear "P" its either look out one of my boys is coming and there is no stopping it (I now watch my boys do the exact same thing I did and laugh and roll my eyes each time I walk past the bathroom and see them dancing and trying to get their pants down in time.),OR I am running and look out because I can't use the tree out back like the rest of you can!!!! So obviously my pregnant bladder isn't holding up as well as I would like but the fact that I am drinking my weight in ounces every day doesn't help the problem either! This too shall pass.
So now that you are quite disgusted in reading about my issues I wanted to share a few other words that start with "P" that have challenged and blessed me at times in my life.

Patience (challenge mostly)
Payday (.......)
Perserverance (challenging but always pays off)
Pig (challenge, but we won obviously... he's in the freezer)
Praise (blessing)

PETIE (ALWAYS a blessing, NEVER a challenge) I love you honey!

Next time I will try to choose a less disgusting letter!LOL!
