Red was so excited to turn 8 and be baptized. But he has also found that being 8 has another perk and that is the cub scout organization. He LOVES scouting. He will do anything to not miss scouts including cleaning like crazy on Wednesday afternoons to make sure its all done so he isn't ever late! He has worked really hard and last week at the Blue and Gold banquet he earned a lot of awards including; His 100 Years of Scouting Badge and 2 of its ribbons, 4 yellow beads, His Wolf, one gold arrow and 2 silver arrows, and his collecting beltloop. I am excited to see him grab hold of scouts and love it so much. I think he can accomplish anything that he puts his mind to. A big thank you to Sister Williams and Sister Blakey his den leaders for all of their hard work in assisting Red in the scouting program!
