Busy Bees

Over the last two days this has been a busy place. While I lie here there are a bunch of little service mice that are making progress on the farm.

Yesterday morning Mike and Shawna came and helped out. Mike sheetrocked the ceiling of the basement with Ryan and Shawna cleaned the kitchen and made a frozen meal.

In the meantime, my mom took the boys to the grocery store. Then she brought the groceries back, she and Shawna put all the stuff away and fed us all for lunch. Mom cleaned the LR and rearranged the furniture.

Later in the afternoon the entire "Carr Clan" was over for Nick's birthday BBQ and they planted the garden! Logan and Ben, Josh and Jenn, Justin and Kassy, Nick and Nicole and Nate and Steph and my mom and dad all took turns cooking, eating, planting, watching kids, washing dishes, cleaning the toy room, and who knows what else they did they were busy bees.

Madelyn enjoyed collecting eggs and feeding the animals. We all took at little time to visit and play around the farm.

Then first thing this morning Nate and Justin were back weedwacking and mowing the lawn. Then dad brought lunch!

Although I would much rather be doing all of these things myself I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE HELP. I am so thankful that both sides of the family understand our need and are willing to serve us so unselfishly. It's not easy for Ryan or myself to receive service. This is a very humbling experience. I will be striving to repay them the rest of my life.

And I also want to say to all those that have been praying for us, thank you. Your prayers are felt and heard; we are being blessed beyond comprehension.
