This afternoon about 2:00 we were suprised when we arrived in the barn and there was a tiny baby goat standing next to his mother.
"Snowflake" is so cute and incredibly tiny.
He looks a lot like his mother, light coloring with a black stripe down the center of his back.
Both mother and baby seem to be doing very well.
They had lots of visitors today and everyone loved it!
I was disappointed that I missed out on the birth, I though it would be really cool to be there and assist and maybe video tape. I am sure she was grateful to have her privacy just like any other mom about to give birth. But I am glad she is a good mommy and is taking great care of her little guy. Great job Gerti!

AH!!!! SOOOOOO cute! I want one now. Snowflake is adorable. Jake is going to love them. I know it.
That is so precious!! I bet the kids had a riot! Weird that the kid is so big already and walking around.. i mean that is normal for animals but when you don't witness it all the time.. it just seems weird.. hahhah I don't make ANY sense!
