Grab the hoses

Ryan has been piling branches and junk wood pieces from around the farm for weeks into a huge stack. He's been waiting for this moment when he could torch it! Driving home from work last night he knew that now was the chance he had been waiting for. It's been dry for a while so the wood shouldn't be too wet and its a nice day. He stopped by the store and picked up the stuff for tinfoil dinners. A little gasoline and presto, a Bonfire!
I didnt have the camera at first so I made one of the boys run and grab it. The pictures are about 30 minutes after the initial blaze started. Flames were going higher than the trees. And me, very paranoid, made sure that all the hoses were on and ready to go. Luckily the night went off without incident.Proud MAN tending his fire!
The boys were so excited when we finally gave them the all clear to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. We all had a good time, although I was 100 feet from the action, it was nice to sit outside for a spell. And the tinfoil dinners, yum.
